Muslims in BC resist Islamophobia through joy, faith, and community care, building resilient spaces of belonging despite adversity.
Voices of the Unseen
Voices of the Unseen: Stories of Struggle and Resilience in Multicultural Canada is a youth-led initiative designed to highlight the stories of marginalized communities in British Columbia, particularly those impacted by racism, discrimination, and the unique challenges of navigating life as individuals from conflict zones. Voices of the Unseen addresses two important issues: racism and discrimination against Muslims and newcomers in British Columbia, and the unique challenges of navigating the work-genocide balance faced by individuals from conflict-affected regions.
Our goal is to spark meaningful conversations, foster empathy, and promote intercultural understanding by sharing stories that often go unheard.
This initiative is proudly supported by the Province of British Columbia.
