Reuven was born in Indonesia and lived there until he relocated to the United Kingdom. He has recently moved to Canada, following a student exchange at the University of British Columbia. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in History from King's College London where he specialised in Enlightenment philosophy with a focus on empire and imperialism. His research interests include the intersection between colonial legacies and contemporary politics, as well as the environment. In his free time, Reuven enjoys climbing, playing guitar, and practicing Jiu-jitsu.
