While promised to be the most inclusive COP ever, critics of COP26 in Glasgow argue that youth and other marginalized groups at the forefront of the climate movement were excluded.
Chelsea was born and raised on the unceded territory of the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations, known as Victoria, BC and currently lives in Berlin. She graduated in 2020 with a degree in Gender, Race, Sexuality & Social Justice from the University of British Columbia, with a specific interest in environmental politics. In particular, she is passionate about the meaningful integration of Indigenous knowledge and decolonial frameworks within climate change agreements.
